SUMMARY
The Information Systems Desktop Analyst will assist the Information Technology Manager in the performance of their daily duties. His/Her total hours per week, projects and tasks are scheduled and approved by the Information Technology Manager. Hours scheduled may include assistance in the evaluation/recommendation to the Information Technology Manager of hardware/software requirements and capabilities; performing maintenance and repair of Local Area Network (LAN) PC systems and independent systems; knowledge of Microsoft & Unix operating systems running on server class hardware helpful, as well as Cisco switches and infrastructure; resolution of system problems. Desktop Analyst will assist with equipment installations and changes, hardware and software resources; assist in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures. The Desktop Analyst will provide support of the facilities network servers, protocols, application and operating system education and training, desktop support and maintenance of routers, switches, hubs, and website, Internet, intranet, email and infrastructure resources.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
One-year certificate from college or technical school; one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience in personal computers.
