EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE

  • Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required.

  • Bachelor’s degree in education, management, nursing, or organizational development or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.

  • Experience in planning, developing, and executing educational programs preferred.

  • Experience in facilitating group activities, presentations, workshops, and events preferred.

  • One to two years of experience in specific nursing services i.e. Emergency Services, Obstetrics, Perioperative Services, Medical-Surgical Services, Skilled Nursing Services preferred.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS

  • Current State of California Nursing license

  • Current CPR certificate

  • ACLS required

  • PALS required

  • NALS preferred
