EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE
Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing is required.
Bachelor’s degree in education, management, nursing, or organizational development or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
Experience in planning, developing, and executing educational programs preferred.
Experience in facilitating group activities, presentations, workshops, and events preferred.
One to two years of experience in specific nursing services i.e. Emergency Services, Obstetrics, Perioperative Services, Medical-Surgical Services, Skilled Nursing Services preferred.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Current State of California Nursing license
Current CPR certificate
ACLS required
PALS required
NALS preferred
